DESCRIPTION
The courses are designed for managers, supervisors or others who wish to develop an understanding of the basic safety requirements for personnel who carry out gas ‘work’.
The courses do not satisfy the competence requirements for Gas Safe Registration.
Course Content
The training course will focus on the following key areas:
- Combustion
- Gas emergency actions
- Emergency control valves
- Meters
- Pressure and flow
- Pipework
- Chimneys and flues
- Ventilation
- Gas safety legislation
- Unsafe situations
Assessment Candidates will be required to successfully complete a multi-choice examination that takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
PREREQUISITES
None.
Delegates will be required to bring a photo ID and a passport-sized photo on the day of the course.
