ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING POINTS
Boost your career in the growing EV market with our electric vehicle charging points courses. These courses provide the skills and knowledge needed to install and maintain EV charging points, making you an essential part of the future of transportation. Perfect for electricians looking to expand their expertise.
DESCRIPTION
Our level 3 installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging points course (run by EAL) is recognised by all electrical competent persons schemes (i.e. CPS) and the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV, previously OLEV) which also includes the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) as this course covers both domestic and commercial.
We have partnered with many mainstream & popular electric charging point manufacturers to ensure you’ll have enough knowledge from doing the course to install their equipment straight away. We also have expert advice (also provided free after the course – contact us anytime) on signing up as an “OZEV/WCS” to help you set up & claim the £350 grant per install, and advice on how to process the paperwork efficiently, without wasting your precious time on needless admin. You can currently claim up to £14,000 in installs per business (across up to 40 charging points). We also provide specialist advice on acquiring finance for customers hoping to have EV points installed, and a network of leads & contacts to get you started.
PREREQUISITES
Trainees must hold a formal craft qualification e.g. N/SVQ 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) or equivalent earlier certification and 18th Edition.
Delegates will need to bring a photo ID and a passport photo.
