This course is designed to equip electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, and ventilation engineers with the knowledge and skills needed to properly install and commission domestic ventilation systems. It is structured to comply with the requirements of the Approved Document Part F of the 2020 Building Regulations and is recognized as evidence of competence for Competent Person Schemes (CPS).
This two-day course is tailored to meet manufacturers' requirements for the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and provision of information for fixed domestic ventilation systems in both new and existing buildings available in the UK.
Assessments consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations. This certification meets the requirements for MCS operators. Certificates are normally valid for 5 years.
