For new entrants to the gas industry. The courses include both practical and theoretical training. Candidates will be required to gain evidence of on-site gas work experience under the supervision of a Gas Safe registered engineer.
IMPORTANT - For those who require assistance in building their on-site portfolio, please select the optional portfolio help when registering (£400 +VAT).
On successful completion, candidates shall be eligible to undertake the relevant ACS assessments.
Modules included:
CCN1 (Core)
CENWAT (Boilers/Central Heating)
CKR1 (Cookers/Stoves)
HTR1 (Gas Fires/Wall Heaters)
This course runs for one week a month over six months. During this time, you will be expected to complete your practical portfolio. If you are not currently employed by a company able to assist with your portfolio, City Training Group have great industry links which are only charged per successful job.
The initial ACS assessments are then taken in 1-2 weeks once your portfolio has been completed (this can be straight after the six months which is already accounted for in the seven dates shown).

Delegates will need to provide photo ID and bring a passport photo along to the first day of the course.
