It was great to welcome Ospreys Rugby Personal Development Manager Lloyd Ashley to our training centre earlier this week.

He was visiting Osprey’s Hooker Ethan Lewis to see how he was getting on with his Managed Learning Programme (MLP) which is giving him the necessary skills to become a qualified gas engineer.

It’s part of the partnership we have with the WRPA where we are helping professional rugby players in Wales develop new skills for life after rugby, so when the time comes to “hang up their boots” they have a trade they can use to earn an income.
